I miss you so much dad, you were my inspiration, my best mate and my rock.
We shared so many fantastic times together. We had our ups we had our downs, we sometimes didn’t see eye to eye. You were always there for me offering your support and guidance when I’ve needed it and you never let me down. You would go to the ends of the earth for me and you were the best father anyone could want.
You would listen my problems and tell me what you thought. You took care of me when I was a child, we played and we laughed and you taught me what is right from wrong.
You were there for my children Tom and Millie and gave them what you gave to me. Your love, your devotion and your honesty.
We have had many adventures in our lives together, we’ve been there for one another right to the end, and I’m going to miss having you there. Not a week has ever passed by in my life that we haven’t spoken until now but I know your with me and your there watching over me.
I love you from you the bottom of my heart and I will carry that love with me for the rest of my life.
I know it was time to leave me and despite how hard that is for me, I know you are at peace and no longer suffering. Rest in peace dad and I long for the day we will be reunited as you are with yours.
